三、教學目標 Objectives
社會變動劇烈，各種現象千奇百怪，人們行為常出於意料。究其原因卻是錯綜複雜難解，無法透過單純的觀察或外在的測量獲得。標準化的實驗設計，或是以確定問卷選項進行調查的量化研究統計數字，也是無法釐清問題的性質與內涵。質性研究方法正適時填補上述量化研究方法所無法達到的效果，並可能解讀種種無法單以數字回答的現象與問題。本課程教授質化研究方法的概念、資料收集方法及資料分析方法等，特別是資料分析軟體課程安排，介紹科技資料軟體的操作方法，帶領同學操作質性資料分析程式來分析深度訪談等大量質性資料，讓質性資料分析達事半功倍之效。本課程除了教師授課之外，亦安排修習同學透過演練撰寫研究計畫，來強化質性研究方法的歷程性學習。修習同學可望達到下述能力之增進：
1.認識質化研究相關概念
2.瞭解質化研究資料蒐集方法
3.掌握質化研究資料分析方法
Social changes are dramatic, various phenomena are strange, and people often behave unexpectedly. The reason is intricate and difficult to understand, and it cannot be obtained through simple observation or external measurement. Standardized experimental design, or quantitative research statistics to determine the questionnaire options for investigation, is also unable to clarify the nature and connotation of the problem. Qualitative research methods are timely to fill the effects that the above quantitative research methods cannot achieve, and may interpret various phenomena and questions that cannot be answered by numbers alone. This course teaches the concept of qualitative research methods, data collection methods and data analysis methods. In addition to teaching by teachers, this course also arranges for classmates to write research plans to strengthen the learning process. The classmates are expected to achieve the following abilities:
1. Recognize relevant concepts of qualitative research
2. Understand the qualitative research data collection method
3. Master the analysis method of qualitative research data

本課程除了質性資料分析軟體介紹以面授方式進行之外，主要以遠距教學方式進行。引導同學形成研究問題開始，進行相關文獻分析，思考適當的研究方法，實際操作質性資料分析軟體進行質性資料分析，讓同學從實際的操作過程學習質性研究。
