This course has the following three main objectives: 1. To help students understand issues related to human resource management. 2. To familiarize students with human resource management practices in Taiwan and internationally and discuss their solutions. 3. To discuss issues related to human resource management in class based on the theoretical knowledge acquired. |

四、課程內容 Course Description | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
●整體敘述 Overall Description This course is designed to delve into key issues in Human Resources Management (HRM) from a global standpoint. It highlights the significance of external and internal environments, the recruitment and development of human resources, work and job design, performance management, the global challenges facing H.R. leaders, and the evaluation and compensation of human resources. By the end of this course, students will gain an understanding of HRM-related topics from both global and local perspectives. They will be able to identify pressing H.R.M. issues in Taiwan, propose viable solutions, and effectively communicate these issues and their solutions in class, grounding their discussions in H.R.M. theories and knowledge. Moreover, students will learn how to apply these concepts and solutions within organizational settings. |

2024-Mar.8 update. The final exam (20%) is optional. Students dissatisfied with their quiz scores (20%) can choose to take the final exam, Regardless of the final exam score, if taken, it will count towards the total grade (20%). Those skipping the final exam will have their quiz scores stand in for their final exam grade. |
