三、教學目標 Objectives
本課程主要幫助學生了解勞動市場相關的理論知識, 學生亦可學習如何解讀現實生活中勞動市場相關的數據(例如勞動工資, 就業率與失業率分析).
The aim of the module is to provide the students the key concepts in the analysis of labour markets and to develop both knowledge of empirical evidence and the capacity to evaluate critically the evidence available.
四、課程內容 Course Description
●整體敘述 Overall Description The module will run for two terms. We will firstly cover the overview of the labour market, theories of labour supply, etc. Further topics include wage differentials, human capital, immigration and labour market discrimination. This course also addresses policy effects on worker and firm behaviour. Moreover, the module will also cover the issues that concern employment relations and labour market experience of different groups of workers.
