1.介紹化學文獻基本觀念及電腦資料庫搜尋技巧.
2.簡介校內圖書館光碟與非書資料庫.
3.熟悉網際網路資源及化學相關資料庫.
4.學習建立個人資料庫編串與連結的技巧.
1. Introduction to the basic concepts of chemistry and computer database search techniques.
2. Using DVD databases on campus libraries and non-book library.
3. Familiar with Internet resources and related chemical applications.
4. Learn to build the personal databases repository.

進度:
每一∼二週探討一主題.

內容以電腦教室實際上機操作為主,包括:
1. 上機操作環境與人機介面,
2. 文獻簡介: Chemical Abstracts.
3. 校園網路與校內資源
4. 國內資源,館際合作,非書資料庫查尋: Sciences Citation Index; Current Contents.
5. 網際網路文獻及化學相關資料庫: Beilstein; Protein Data Bank.
6. 資料庫線上連結與文獻下載,存檔與列印: PDF Format.
7. 建立個人資料庫軟體: Procite; Biblio-Link Endnote, References Manager
