三、教學目標 Objectives |

This two-semester required course serves as a general introduction to British literature in its social and historical context from the Romantic period, the Victorian age, to the 20th century. The first semester introduces students to the Romantic period in England, a span of time that marked by the spirit of revolution. Students will explore how the spirit of chaos and upheaval was conveyed by writers such as Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, de Quincey, Byron, Shelley, and Keats. |
