| (1) Familiarizing students with everyday conversational Mandarin Chinese. (2) Introducing 300 Chinese characters to students. 一、學會基礎國語會話 二、介紹 300 個漢字。 |

| ●整體敘述 Overall Description Students should come to class on time and participate in classroom activities. Chinese characters will be introduced at a later interval. Homework (Chinese character writing) will be given, and grades for late turn-ins will automatically drop a notch. 學生應準時到課，與老師同學積極互動，以練習基礎國語會話。大約四周後，學寫漢字才會正式開展。課後會有抄寫漢字的作業，遲交者分數自動降一級。 |
