三、教學目標 Objectives
Through case study method, understand the basic concepts of the law of contracts in Anglo-American legal system, learn the legal analysis process from court reasoning, and distinguish the differences from certain civil law concepts to enhance future capabilities in personal career planning. The first semester hopes to cover three basic concepts of contract law – offer, acceptance and consideration. The second semester will discuss contract remedies as well as other miscellaneous topics, such as mistake& changed circumstance, distinction of implied-in-law contract and implied-in-fact contract. Contract review techniques will be discussed during the classes.

期中及期末考試（英文命題、英文作答）占百分之六十。
中文版英美契約法案例研析一書係同學課前預習及課後複習之有利參考書，為貫徹東吳英美法教學傳統，上課時不得以該書直接做為報告依據，否則當次報告表現將不予計分。
作業及報告必須親自親撰繕打，如有抄襲情事，除依相關學校規定處理外，該作業將以零分計算。
考試時除得考慮攜帶傳統字典外，一律不得使用任何電子設備。
