三、教學目標 Objectives
GOAL: The aim for this course is to help students become critically aware of national and international current issues and be able to report and discuss these issues as well as express their own opinions in English with confidence;
PURPOSE: to improve their English speaking ability as well as to build their vocabulary and critical thinking;
 
四、課程內容 Course Description
整體敘述 Overall Description
METHOD: Group work where students alternate creating and role playing on a topic/chapter from Good Chats for the first week and having current issues circle on the following week. For the current issues, students from each group will take turns being responsible for selecting an article, teaching vocabulary, preparing discussion questions, conducting discussion among group by having individuals express their opinions on the article and finally, reporting and presenting information to the whole class.
