三、教學目標 Objectives
Students will be asked to read various selections as well as some extra readings. In this class we will focus on reading comprehension and discussion of various issues in the readings. All discussions will be in English and the students will be challenged to discuss what they have read. We will focus on development of various reading and comprehension skills. The focus of the English Conversation section of the class is to improve the student's English oral abilities. This class will help students develop the confidence to speak and communicate in English. This class will provide a positive environment in which the students will have English as the basic language of communication.

出席 10%If you are absent 5 days your grade will drop one full grade. If you are absent 6 days your grade will be in the 50-59 range and if you are absent beyond 6 days your grade will be below 50. 2 tardies is equal to 1 absent day. Absents include excused sicknesses!!!!!
